Adam Harrington is a digital producer at CBS Chicago, where he first arrived in January 2006.

Before first joining CBS Chicago, Harrington worked as a reporter for the City News Service of Chicago. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 2002 with a degree in political science.
Rivera was accidentally shot and killed by another officer on the night of Thursday, June 5.
A gun was recovered at the scene, police said. Charges were pending late Monday.
Police said the man was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
