Deadly gun violence is surging in Chicago once again. Police say at least 57 people were shot since Friday evening during one of the most violent weekends on record. At least 11 were killed. Dean Reynolds reports.
Student activists from cities like Chicago and Parkland, Florida, are doubling down on their efforts to stop gun violence. They're in the middle of a cross-country tour that brought them to the steps of the NRA's headquarters in Virginia. Adriana Diaz has been following their journey.
At least 34 people were shot across Chicago over a 24-hour period beginning 10 a.m. Saturday, police said Sunday. Five of those shot in the flurry of violence were killed, and the others were hospitalized with injuries.
