Sailor who died in Pearl Harbor attack finally accounted for
U.S. Navy Seaman 2nd Class John C. Auld, 23, was from Newcastle, England, and died aboard the USS Oklahoma on Dec. 7.

The Beaver County native was unidentified for years, but he finally found his way home and was laid to rest.
Fireman 1st Class Walter Schleiter was one of more than 380 unaccounted for following the attack.
Fireman 1st Class Walter Schleiter will be buried at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on April 11.
Modern DNA analyses confirmed the identity of Stanley Galaszewski, a U.S. Navy sailor killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.
The only remaining survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack from the USS Arizona is now Lou Conter, who is 101 and living in California.
