The sign that marked the gate number for United Flight 93 at Newark Airport is getting a permanent home at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where the plane crashed.
Since the attacks, the memorial has become a place of education and reflection.
Officials say it'll take decades to replace and revitalize trees at the national memorial in western Pennsylvania to the crew and passengers who died there when a hijacked airplane crashed on Sept. 11, 2001.
