Bin Shao of Flushing, New York, has been charged with second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide, according to court documents.
The bus driver was the only person on the bus and suffered minor injuries.
Eight people were hurt in the crash, including the bus driver who was treated for minor injuries.
