Woman Caught On Camera Taking Persian Cat From Manhattan Animal Shelter
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Security video from the Manhattan Animal Control Center shows a woman grabbing a Persian cat from its cage over the weekend.
Another camera shows the alleged cat-napper leaving with the pet in her purse.
It's the kind of cat you would normally get from a breeder or a pet store.
The stolen cat had already been promised to a new owner before the theft.
