Prep school rape trial
The alleged rape victim at St. Paul's School, an elite New Hampshire prep school, will testify again today in the trial of her accused attacker. There are new accusations that school officials knew of the tradition known as the "senior salute," an apparent competition among graduating boys to have sex with younger girls.
Clinton's classified information
It is not just Clinton's private server that may have contained classified information. The State Department filed court papers Wednesday afternoon saying it "does not believe that any personal computing device was issued by the Department" to Clinton. That raises the question, how secure were her personal devices, since they weren't issued by the State Department? As for the server, Clinton's attorney confirmed it was wiped clean of all data before she turned it over to the FBI.
Googling candidates
When Americans are looking for answers, most of them - about 64 percent, - turn to Google. And when it comes to questions about the field of 2016 presidential candidates, there are really just two things they want to know.
Trump - New Hampshire
Donald Trump gave what, for Donald Trump, would be considered a typical stump speech. It was a meandering labyrinth of criticisms of currently elected officials ("Our leaders are babies!"), his own prowess ("I went to the Wharton School of Finance!"), the negotiations that brought back Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl ("a dirty rotten traitor"), a reference to puppets ("Bing bang, bing bang!") and a reminder of his wealth ("I don't need anybody's money. I don't want anybody's money.")
Costco Shrimp
Costco Wholesale is accused of supporting forced labor in Thailand by selling farmed shrimp from that country, where human trafficking is widespread, and allegedly misleading consumers about it. A lawsuit filed Wednesday in San Francisco federal court is the "education of consumers to make sure they are not being served slavery on a dinner plate," said attorney Derek Howard.
Televangelists
A segment on HBO's "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" is putting new pressure on the IRS to crack down on televangelists. Some may be enriching themselves through questionable appeals to the faithful. The "Last Week Tonight" clip has already been viewed more than four million times on YouTube.
"Satisfaction"
Fifty years ago today, "Satisfaction" debuted in Britain. It not only made the Rolling Stones a household name, it went on to be named the second most influential song in American history by Rolling Stone magazine. The classic hit remains timeless.
Demi Lovato
