The video, obtained by CBS affiliate KLAS-TV, shows an officer approach Davis near his home.
Shakur was gunned down in 1996 while waiting at a red light near the Las Vegas Strip in a BMW driven by Death Row Records founder Marion "Suge" Knight.
Tupac wore the custom, self-designed ring during his final public appearance at the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards, a little over a week before his shooting death.
The rap legend wore the gold, ruby and diamond crown ring during his last public appearance in September 1996. He was shot to death days later.
