The crash occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on Beach Boulevard north of Slater Avenue, where a 30-year-old man was found dead at the scene.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest at around 9:45 p.m. outside of a motel on Sepulveda Boulevard.
