On Friday, a Wayne County judge put a temporary restraining order on the antenna, meaning it cannot be turned on until they have a court date.
In a dramatic turn of events, the Wyandotte Public Schools superintendent recently resigned amid controversy surrounding a T-Mobile antenna placed atop Washington Elementary.
Former Wyandotte School Board President, Michael Swiecki attended the meeting, he told the room he sticks by his board's decision. "Listen we made a decision based on the knowledge we had at the time," Swiecki exclaimed.
The frustration surrounding a 5G tower near an elementary school continues in Wyandotte, and parents are now taking their concerns to the city council.
Congressman Shri Thanedar is hoping to facilitate a happy medium. He says he's talked with the mayor and other city leaders.

But the wireless carrier says the hackers apparently didn't get passwords, PINs, bank account or credit card information, Social Security numbers or other government IDs.
