The men, ages 19 and 20, were standing outside in the 1500 block of North Linder about 10:25 p.m. when shots were fired in their direction from a group of males standing on the corner across the street, according to Chicago Police.
About 6 p.m., a man was shot to death less than two blocks from President Barack Obama's Kenwood home. The 25-year-old was in a vehicle when another vehicle approached, and someone in that vehicle fired shots, police said.
