Early voting polls open at 9 a.m. every day except for Sundays at 10 a.m.
"Honestly, I was kind of nervous because I never experienced anything similar to it, but it was easier than I would have expected."
County officials said the machines will making voting faster and more secure.
The start date for early voting had been Thursday, May 26, but had to be changed after the Cook County Circuit Court made three rulings.
