The thief ran off, and was last seen going east toward the Roosevelt 'L' station, police said.
John Wesley, 24, was arrested on Friday in the 2700 block of South California Avenue.

The robbery happened on Cornelia Avenue in East Lakeview.
No one was hurt in the robbery, and no one was in custody Monday afternoon.
