On Wednesday night, the Leo choir found out that viewers had voted them to advance to the semifinals.

It's not the biggest crowd they've stood before, but on Wednesday the Leo High School boys' choir received a well-deserved shoutout from the Chicago City Council.
The boys got a standing ovation from the crowd and the judges. CBS News Chicago was there as the group gathered for a watch party Tuesday night at the school.
"The young men inspire me, and the choir made me feel something," Audrina Sinclair said. "I'm so excited that the positive power of social media did its thing for the Leo boys!
