The fire started on the 15th floor of the Harper Square Cooperative south tower in Kenwood in January 2023, and climbed up 10 stories. As Tara Molina reports, the people who lived in the building remain displaced two years later.
The vandalism has happened at least three times in the last week in the 4700 block of South Ellis Avenue.
The slashings all happened this week on Ellis Avenue off 47th Street.
The shooting happened around 12:16 a.m. in the 1300 block of East Hyde Park Boulevard.
Deandre Warren, 18, has been charged with one count of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated battery.
The robberies happened during the afternoon and evening hours in June and July in the Bronzeville and Kenwood neighborhoods.
The crash happened just before 3:30 a.m. in the 4600 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
