ISP said the driver of a jeep tried to take a closed ramp from I-90 to Washington and hit the back of the squad car.

Chicago police and air support located the car in the area of Diversey and Central Park and initiated the pursuit, ISP said.
A squad car driven by the trooper was traveling in the left lane of I-94 near 115th Street when another car abruptly changed lanes in front of it, according to ISP.

ISP said the driver of a Ford Transit Z50 was traveling eastbound and attempted to pass a Freightliner truck-tractor semi-trailer on the single-lane ramp from Mannheim.
