Flames broke out just before noon this past Thursday at the Target at 7000 Mannheim Rd. next to the Allstate Arena.

An extra-alarm fire caused significant damage Thursday morning at a custom cabinet manufacturer in southwest suburban New Lenox. The fire started just before 10:30 a.m. at Tri-Star Cabinets, in the 1000 block of South Cedar Road in New Lenox.
There was no immediate information on a cause or injuries.

Naser Khanfar and Sara Jones were closing up shop in Oak Lawn early Monday morning when they noticed flames at a mobile home across the street. The pair rushed to help break a window, allowing a father and his two young sons to make it to safety.
