A man was arrested overnight after pointing a gun at another man on the CTA Red Line, police said.
Around 12:30 p.m., an 82-year-old man was getting off the elevator on the Red Line platform at the Chicago station, when a robber knocked him to the ground and stole his personal property.
A UIC student has now been missing for more than a week after last having been seen on the CTA at the Roosevelt 'L' stop.
The crash involved an articulated CTA bus and three other vehicles in the northbound lanes of DuSable Lake Shore Drive near 49th Street around 7:30 a.m.
That teen and two others were charged Monday for robberies over the past several weeks at or near stops on the Red Line.
"On days where events are happening, where I can't drive, I pay a little extra money for Uber if I can, just to avoid the Red Line."
The girl is charged in three robberies at or near CTA stations in March and April.
There have now been at least eight attacks on the CTA in the past 10 days.
Chicago police said all three were charged after turning themselves in Monday at CPD's Area 1 detective headquarters.

Three people were stabbed in separate attacks on the CTA over the weekend, renewing concerns about safety on the city's mass transit system. CBS 2's Tara Molina reports.
"We'll continue to add resources until we see the kind of safety that the city of Chicago deserves," CPD Supt. David Brown said.

It comes as the CTA announced it is working on deploying 300 unarmed security guards to the entire transit system every day, up from the current 200.
Robberies, stabbings, and shootings are among the violent attacks that have been reported in the CTA system within just the last month.
