Bessie English was driving westbound in the 2700 block of West Division about 7:50 a.m. when a tan 2010 Honda CRV crashed head-on into her vehicle.
Two vehicles were traveling north in the 2800 block of North Lake Shore Drive, when both spun out of control at 2:55 a.m., police said, citing preliminary information. At least one of the vehicles struck a squad car pulled over on the side of the road, police said.
