The crash happened around 5:40 p.m., in the 1000 block of Touhy Avenue.
Police say an 18-year-old driver without a license struck another vehicle before hitting the bus.
Police said the driver of the SUV was issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving on a revoked license.
