The MBTA's unprecedented month-long shutdown of the Orange Line ended Monday morning as scheduled.

MBTA General Manager Steve Poftak stated on Friday that the Orange Line will have new train cars when it reopens. Poftak also said he is "confident" that Orange Line will reopen on the morning on Monday, September 19.
