They recalled millions of vehicles earlier this year, now Toyota is adding 1.5 million American vehicles to a recall to fix fuel pumps that can fail and cause engines to stall.
Nearly 700,000 vehicles are being recalled by Toyota because the fuel pumps can fail and not only cause engines to stall, but increase the risk for a crash.
In a statement, Toyota said it would ask the judge or, if necessary, an appeals court for a new trial.
The Dallas County jury determined Friday that the seats were unreasonably dangerous and Toyota failed to warn of those dangers.
