The investigation took place in the Camden Portofino community, according to the Pembroke Pines Police Department.
The Hollywood Police Department said the woman's body was found near New Mexico Street around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The adults were identified as 46-year-old Melanie Lauren Hyer and 42-year-old Ryan Charles Whiten. The children were identified as an 11-year-old girl and an 8-year-old girl.
Michael J. Enriquez, 53, is facing charges including unlawful sexual activity with a specified minor.
The plane crash was reported just north of South Florida State Hospital.
The callers claim victims have missed jury duty or are connected to a criminal case – real or fabricated – and demand payment.
