The L.A. County District attorney identified the man as 42-year-old Joseph DeLaCruz.
The district will only require those experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or who were a close contact with a person who tested positive.
The Pasadena Public Health Department said the patients are all adults and recovering from the illness.
