Sacramento police arrest suspect in deadly shooting near Blues Alley and 12th Street

Around 2 a.m. on Aug. 10, police were sent to the area of Blues Alley and 12th Street for a person lying down on the roadway.
The closure affects all of northbound I-680 at the Mission San Jose overpass, Highway 238.
Police said two of the suspects were teen girls, aged 17 and 15, and two were 18-year-old women.
Police said they arrived at the scene and found a man who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Burlingame Police said the two children were on the sidewalk in front of a business when they were hit by a vehicle.

The shooting happened on the 6200 block of West 4th Street, and the Sheriff's Office said it may have been a possible shootout.
Service to two lines was temporarily suspended on Saturday so crews could work to restore power in the Transbay Tube.

The fire began near Calaveras Road and Indian Creek Road in Sunol just before 4 p.m.
The fire caused a temporary closure of Interstate 680 near Bayshore Road in Benicia around 3:30 p.m.
The 400 block of First Street was shut down after the shooting, and it will be closed for several hours, police said just after 7:30 p.m.
In an update on Tuesday, Cal Fire said the blaze was held to 2.4 acres with no structures damaged or destroyed.
Officers were near Fulton Street and 35th Avenue around 11 p.m. to patrol the area during the ongoing Golden Gate Park concert series.
The hit-and-run happened on Saturday night on Jefferson Boulevard.
