A home health aide caught on camera snooping instead of looking after a hospice patient, is now facing charges.

Previously, she reported for KOKH-TV in Oklahoma City as an investigative journalist. During her time in the Sooner state, Erika played a major role in the station's COVID-19 pandemic coverage and dug into the city's homeless population and dilapidated county jail. Erika also added storm chasing to her resume as she covered the aftermath of devastating tornadoes and floods and was sent to cover Hurricane Sally in Florida in 2020.
Prior to working in Oklahoma City, Erika worked for WJAC in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, as a reporter and weekend anchor for four years. During her time there, Erika reported on breaking news stories, local government and crime. She also did thorough research and reporting on the growing opioid epidemic and covered major court cases including Jerry Sandusky.
Erika got her start in the business in 2014 in Youngstown, Ohio, where she was a morning reporter for WFMJ.
Erika is a proud IUP alum. She graduated in 2014 magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in communications and minor in journalism. During school, Erika completed multiple internships in Pittsburgh through "The X Morning Show" and 970 ESPN. After graduation, Erika completed another internship at WJXT in Jacksonville, Florida.
In Erika's free time, she enjoys being outside boating, golfing, skiing and relaxing by a fire with family and friends.
