Voters in five states are heading to the polls in primary elections Tuesday ahead of the November midterm elections. For many Republican candidates, these races are a test of their loyalty to former President Donald Trump whose endorsement carries significant weight with many American voters. President Biden met with key Democrats on Wednesday as divisions between moderates and progressives threaten to derail his domestic agenda. Democrats avoided being shut out of any Congressional races in Tuesday's primaries in California. Democrats are looking to flip several Republican-held House seats in November.
