Tennessee ends vaccine outreach for youth

Tennessee's Department of Public Health announced it will end vaccine outreach efforts for children and teens following pressure from conservative Republican state lawmakers. The Tennessean reports that the changes will apply to vaccines against all diseases, not just COVID-19. Pfizer's COVID-19 booster authorized for kids as young as 12

Millions of Americans as young as 12 could soon be able to get a booster shot of a COVID-19 vaccine after the FDA authorized third doses of Pfizer-BioNTech's shot for that age group.
