Pilots recall their mission on Sept. 11, 2001

As we commemorate the 9/11 terror attacks, CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell sat down with Air National Guard pilots Lt. Gen. Marc Sasseville and Heather Penney as they recount the harrowing events from that Tuesday morning in 2001 when they heroically rushed into their F-16 fighter jets in what they knew might be their last mission to protect the nation's capital after the World Trade Center attacks in New York City. Pa. prisoner manhunt search area expanded

Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio sentenced

The former leader of the Proud Boys, Enrique Tarrio, was sentenced to 22 years in prison on Tuesday, the longest prison sentence yet related to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Tarrio wasn't present at the Capitol on Jan. 6, but prosecutors described him as the "primary organizer" of the conspiracy for which he and three of his co-defendants were convicted of seditious conspiracy.
