Spring has sprung in the Steel City. From cap and gown ceremonies to brunches fit for queens, we're eagerly anticipating the unforgettable moments that spring brings. Neubauer's Flowers and Market House was here to give us some ideas on floral arrangements ahead of Mother's Day.
We met Tom Werner on Talk Pittsburgh. Since his retirement, he has occupied his time growing more than 200 different types of flowers. They eventually end up in nursing homes and hospitals, making these facilities a little bit brighter for residents and patients.
With the nicer weather starting to creep in, it's the perfect time to get that green thumb going and spruce up your space. While the focus tends to be on the flowers growing out in the garden, we cannot neglect our plants that are sprouting indoors.
