Many people took advantage of Friday's beautiful weather and hit the beach to kick off the long holiday weekend. CBS2's Jennifer McLogan spoke to beachgoers at Jones Beach in Nassau County.
Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the 25-minute show will kick off at 9:30 p.m. on Independence Day.
