Prosecutors say the woman's blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit when she hit and killed Officer Anastasios Tsakos on the Long Island Expressway.
Fifty-three-year-old Mahomes, Sr. was charged with at least his third DWI on Saturday, according to Smith County records.
