Now, I'm not going to say that Sunday's 30-27 Jets win over the Texans is up there in American history with the Miracle on Ice, but what I will say is that this team has a little something special working for them.
I very nearly needed a nap after watching the emotional vacuum that was the game between the Jets and the Texans.
Perhaps the fans needed to flee for the Jets to win, as it felt more like a road game when Mark Sanchez threw a perfect, arching spiral to Santonio Holmes, who cradled it in for a stunning 30-27 win over the Texans.
The Saints are rolling, yet making little progress in the powerful NFC South. Elsewhere Sunday, the Patriots and Jets remained on top of the AFC East as New England edged Indianapolis and New York rallied to beat Houston.

Santonio Holmes' eyes say it all. When it's late in a game and Rex Ryan needs a big play from his offense, he strolls over to his star wide receiver and takes a look at him.
Few things infuriate football fans more than the one-possession overtime. You know, win the coin toss, kick a long field goal and go home.
Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub is back with the team after he was hospitalized with an injury to the bursa sac in his right knee.
