B&C Morning Show: Yankees Get Bullied In The Bronx

On Monday morning, Craig coined the three-game Red Sox-Yankees series in the Bronx as a "grand re-opening" of the Major League Baseball season.

When the two teams met back in mid-May (Boston won all 3 games at Yankee Stadium - 5/13-15) the matchup lacked any kind of juice, but before this go-round both teams were playing well. And when you sprinkle in the fact that AL East supremacy is on the line, this one had all the juice you could ask for.

Fast forward a couple of days and the Red Sox have taken the first 2 games of the series, winning last night 11-6, running their win streak in the Bronx to 5 straight games.  The Red Sox have taken 7 of 8 from the Yankees this season. According to Craig, the Bombers "are in big, fat trouble".

Craig was also extremely upset with the Yanks' lack of retaliation against the Red Sox for hitting Mark Teixeira and Russell Martin - and for David Ortiz's bat flip Tuesday night.

Ortiz went deep again last night by the way.
