5/12 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta,
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good evening all,

Warm out there today. Lots of upper 80s and maybe even an inland 90° will pop up. Any rain has been lifted north to the edges of our viewing area. We are just too stable around here with a strong southwest wind gusting to 25+ mph.

Although I'm not ruling out a stray storm tonight, it is the exception, not the norm.

We will drop temps quite dramatically overnight. 50s for those closer to the coast, upper 40s inland.

We will top off in the mid to upper 60s Wednesday. We drop temps even further by Thursday morning. Some might see some 30s in the Hudson Valley.

This is unfortunately normal for late spring too -- ups and downs everyone. So check back in often for updates on our ever changing weather.
