Kara Finnstrom reports from Long Beach where a lengthy investigation continued through Tuesday morning, after a woman was found shot to death in her car near the Anaheim Street offramp of the 710 Freeway.
Authorities were conducting a large scale investigation in Long Beach Tuesday morning, after reports of both a shooting and a collision were made at the Anaheim Street offramp in the area, where one person was found dead.
A single vehicle crashed into a tree off the side of the southbound 710 Freeway in Long Beach, prompting a Sigalert from CHP officers investigating the incident.
An overturned big rig remained on its side in Long Beach, as crews continued to work to clear the truck from the roadway. As a result, the transition between the EB 710 FWY and NB 91 FWY remained closed for hours.
