The three men were charged with more than 27 felonies for their alleged involvement in an organized retail crime operation across Southern California, resulting in more than $300k in losses, according to California Attorney General Rob Bonta.
The chase began near Santa Monica, continuing along the 10, 110 and 5 Freeways before finally ending in Sylmar, where the suspect was tackled after bailing on foot.
The crash happened on Dec. 29, 2023, when a driver behind the wheel of a white Dodge Charger hit a pedestrian as they crossed the street in Pico-Union.
