Keenan Anderson, 31, died on January 3 after he was tased by Los Angeles Police Department officers following a crash in Venice.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was at least 20 years old.
75-year-old Jin Chung was last seen on Sunday at 6:00 a.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
The man allegedly stabbed a woman with a "sharp metal object" at a gas station at the corner of Fair Oaks Avenue and Woodbury Road.
The ground underneath the railroad tracks was destabilized by heavy rains and high tide in September.
"We talk about heroes and then you get a chance to meet one," said Gov. Gavin Newsom after visiting Brandon Tsay's home. The 26-year-old has been hailed as a hero after he disarmed the man who killed at least 11 people in Monterey Park.
According to a release from San Bernardino Police Department, investigators looking into burglaries at several businesses found that the crimes were "being committed by transients camping in the riverbed."
"What a brave man he is," the Los Angeles County sheriff said of Brandon Tsay, who wrestled a gun away from the suspect.
The suspect in a mass shooting in Monterey Park, that left 10 dead and another 10 wounded has died, law enforcement confirmed Sunday.
"I can't believe these poor people never knew it was coming," said Mary Alvarado, a Monterey Park resident who left the Lunar New Year celebration on Saturday just moments before the shooting.
"Nothing about this is surprising. Everything about this is infuriating," the California governor told Norah O'Donnell.
Investigators identified the shooter as 72-year-old Huu Can Tran.
A high wind warning has been issued for parts of Los Angeles County Monday until 9 a.m. by the National Weather Service.
