Ron Hernandez, 45, was standing on the sidewalk about 5:55 p.m. in the 5200 block of West Washington Boulevard when someone walked up and announced a robbery, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Most recently, a man in his 20s was shot in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side. The man was in the 9900 block of South Wentworth Avenue about 9:55 p.m. when he was shot in the hand, police said.
Coby Bridgeman, 29, was outside in the 5600 block of West Washington Boulevard when three men approached, and one of them shot him in the head.
