The accident happened on Washington Boulevard at Damen Avenue, not far from the United Center.

Two cars were involved in a crash and struck a pedestrian, and the drivers both sped off.
Both drivers sped off from the scene.
Police confirmed autopsy results are pending.

Most recently, a man in his 20s was shot in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side. The man was in the 9900 block of South Wentworth Avenue about 9:55 p.m. when he was shot in the hand, police said.
Coby Bridgeman, 29, was outside in the 5600 block of West Washington Boulevard when three men approached, and one of them shot him in the head.
