A 16-year-old boy is facing multiple charges after carjacking a dozen people within several hours back in August on the city's South and Southwest Sides.
The crimes happened Tuesday during the morning hours between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The victim was carjacked and pistol-whipped, according to police.
The crimes happened during the hours of 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.
The teens, ages 14 to 17, were arrested by the Vehicular Hijacking task Force on Thursday.
The teen was in a parked car in the 6000 block of South Pulaski Road when a Subaru sport-utility vehicle pulled up and someone inside shot him.

In these incidents, unknown suspect(s) would gain entry into homes and take property from inside, police said.
