A vandal targeted the Nabala Café in the 4600 block of North Broadway around 5:30 a.m. Friday, smashing four windows.
The thieves have struck at least three times in the early-morning hours last week.
The first-ever fest will take place along Lincoln Avenue from Diversey to Wellington from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
One of the incidents happened at an ATM drive-through lane in Avalon Park.
The robbers were only described as wearing hooded sweatshirts, masks, and gloves.
Six of those incidents happened on Saturday, and three more on Sunday—all happening during the early morning hours.
