Matt Reum was trapped for six days in a wrecked pickup truck in Portage, Indiana.

"My surgery has gone well enough, and I'm healing strong enough from that to where I can start working on getting back into society," said Reum, who is recovering from having a leg amputated.
Reum broke his silence Monday – six days after he was rescued from a wrecked pickup truck along a creek in Northwest Indiana where he had been trapped for as many days.
