The shooting happened in a parking lot near a Ross Dress for Less store.
The man was in a lot near a Ross Dress for Less store in the 7600 block of South Cicero Avenue when he was shot in the head, police said.
The 22-year-old woman was shot at a gas station at Madison Street and Cicero Avenue.

A car jumped the curb and plowed into a load-bearing column at an O’Reilly Auto Parts store in Cicero Avenue.
Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt.
Police said someone from a beige vehicle fired shots at a man and woman traveling southbound on Cicero. The third victim was discovered a short distance away.
The person jumped from the overpass onto Cicero Avenue below and was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
