For 16 years Dr. Justin Antos has been the music teacher and band leader, here at Eisenhower High School in Blue Island. As Suzanne Le Mignot reports, Antos is now a finalist for the 2025 Music Educator Award at the Grammys.
The Blue Island city administrator confirmed that the officer was one of their own.

Police said a vehicle pulled up during the service, and multiple gunmen opened fire in the direction of the Salvation Army center.
It appeared that the fire might have spread up into the roof.
