The Plano Police Department says it is searching its records and Pennsylvania prosecutors say David Zandstra's DNA has been collected to compare to unsolved cases nationwide.
In a social media post published Monday, the Plano Police Department wrote that David Zandstra had been listed in a news article as "one of the places this monster could have lived."
