Water in Grand Prairie is now safe to use, according to city officials, after a "foaming agent" was found in the water supply. Schools, however, remain closed.
Superintendent Jorge Arredondo was placed on administrative leave Wednesday night without explanation.
"It's over," the mayor said at a 9 p.m. news conference. "We got a clean bill of health about an hour ago from TCEQ."
