Eight people were injured early Sunday after a shooting near a car wash in Fort Worth, police said.
"Man… and just a few seconds later I heard gunshots," said Isel Valenzuela who was driving down I-35 near Heritage Trace Parkway on Friday. "Everybody slammed on their brakes, and I was only about three cars behind where it happened."
Police said Tuesday, that the SUV driver was cooperating with the investigation and hasn't been arrested.
MedStar said a man is in critical condition after a shooting on northbound I-35W near Heritage Trace Parkway in Fort Worth.
"It is now our number one priority in the city to make sure that when you call 911 can you get a live person," Fort Worth City Councilman Chris Nettles said.
