In the nation's capital, he covered significant national stories, including the memorials for Senators John McCain and George H.W. Bush, the COVID-19 pandemic, and racial justice protests.
Outside the newsroom, Gio is a movie buff, so you'll find him at multiple screenings across LA. He's also a big foodie, massive sports fan, and dog dad of two.
