Pedestrian killed, another hospitalized after crash in Jurupa Valley

It happened a little after 6 p.m. near the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Soto Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Investigators say that the driver remained at the scene to cooperate with their investigation.
The shooting left the driver with multiple gunshot wounds. Two other occupants, a woman and an 8-month-old baby, were also inside the car at the time of the incident.
The crash happened near the intersection of Fallbrook Avenue and Victory Boulevard at around 6:40 p.m. on Nov. 24, according to LAPD detectives.
The woman was found at around 8:20 p.m. on New Year's Eve, when officers were dispatched to make a welfare check on the 33-year-old.
The department's Computer Aided Dispatch program crashed, leaving them to track calls for dispatch manually at separate stations.
It happened at around 5:20 a.m. on northbound lanes near Wilshire Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of Marguerite Parkway and Pueblonuevo Drive, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Nevaeh Holden, 14 years old, was last seen on 97th Street and Flower Street earlier Wednesday at around 12:30 p.m., police said.
CHP officers pulled the driver over after witnessing them making an unsafe turn on US-395.
One man was killed during the shooting, which happened just before 2 a.m. near Rosecrans Avenue and the 710 Freeway, according to LASD deputies.
It happened at around 4:20 a.m. in the 3000 block of W. Pico Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It happened on Thursday at around 4:45 p.m. near the intersection of California Avenue and San Antonio Drive, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The barrier, which is made of shatterproof, tempered glass, will fully enclose the driver for their protection.
Police were called to the 12900 block of Willard Street, just near the 170 Freeway and Roscoe Boulevard, at around 4:40 p.m. on Saturday after a female victim was found in the area suffering from major head trauma, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
