Trump doubles down on false election claims

Former President Trump doubled down on his baseless claims surrounding the 2020 election during a rally in Arizona over the weekend. His remarks came on the heels of an Associated Press investigation that identified fewer than 200 cases of potential voter fraud from the presidential election in the state, where President Biden defeated Mr. Trump by more than 10,000 votes. New details on FBI's Kavanaugh investigation

The FBI revealed new information on its sexual misconduct investigation into Justice Brett Kavanaugh before his confirmation to the Supreme Court. In a letter sent to two Democratic senators, the agency said it received more than 4,500 tips on the then-judge in 2018, but only the "relevant" ones were sent to the Trump White House, and it's not clear what happened after that. Kavanaugh has repeatedly denied allegations of sexual misconduct. Jan Wolfe, legal affairs correspondent for Reuters, joins CBSN AM to discuss.

Judge rules to halt DACA

Democrats are under pressure to take action after a federal judge in Texas on Friday ruled that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival program is illegal. The program protects hundreds of immigrants brought to the U.S. as children from deportation. The new ruling bars the government from accepting new applications to the program, but does not impact those who are already recipients. CBSN political contributor and White House reporter for The Associated Press Zeke Miller joins CBSN's Lana Zak with more on the judge's justification for that ruling and the latest on the controversial audit of 2020 ballots in Arizona.
